For the last week or so, I've been sending out Shannon's resume. He received a call back from an employer about 10 minutes after I applied for the job. The job is in Oklahoma City, OK. She set up a phone interview for this past Monday at noon. Well, Monday at noon came and went. Shannon called her at 1 PM, the person that answered said she was in a "meeting and she would call on Tuesday at noon." Tuesday at noon came and went. Then I read that there was a tornado, down power lines, etc. in Oklahoma City. So we figured she couldn't call.
Yesterday morning I checked Shannon's email and he received a response from the Director of that area asking if he is willing to relocate to Oklahoma City. I replied back saying "yes... etc" So he replied back saying he would have an "area manager" call. This same woman calls at around 1:30 PM very apologetic. Everytime she went to call, it got busy, plus she's down 2 managers, so she's helping to cover 2 hotel properties. She asked if she could set up another phone interview for 4 PM. She actually called, but it wasn't until 4:15 PM. The interview was about a half hour long. She ended the call by saying, "plan on moving to Oklahoma City."
She wants to set up a phone interview/conference with Shannon, her and her director. She wants to get Shannon hired right away and have him start right away. In the meantime, Kyle and I will stay my in-laws for a few weeks until Shannon gets a paycheck or two.

As you can probably tell from the blog title, our visit did not go as planned. First, let's start from the beginning.
