His First Visit To His New School

Kyle starts school in just a few days!  He will be starting 6th grade at a brand new school, in a new school district.

A few days ago, I shared my huge ordering mistake. I admit it was my fault.




I guess I was so excited about shopping online that I didn't check the shipping details. I didn't notice my mistake until 3 hours after I placed my order. I quickly called Target Customer Service.

I have always enjoyed shopping online. It saves me time and everything is delivered to my door. Plus, I use Ebates to earn money back on my online purchases. I've been using Ebates for years!

The new school year is starting soon! I bought clothes for our son to wear for school. He now has a dress code, so I wanted to be sure we have enough clothes for him. When he was in preschool, they had a dress code at the elementary school.  When we first found out his new school has a dress code, I was annoyed but then realized how much easier it will be for all of us.

Kyle is picky about his clothes. He also likes simple clothes with simple designs. The dress code will be easier on our budget and on Kyle!  Less stress for me when shopping for new clothes for him throughout the year.  Last year, I always found myself trying to find cute designs for him to wear.

I like shopping at Target for my son's clothes because they offer pull-on pants in his size. We haven't tried zippers or buttons with him.

After my first call to Target, I was advised to wait until the packages were received by UPS and then call to have them re-routed. So, I kept checking my app throughout the night.

When the first package showed it was received, I called Target and they rerouted. When the second package was received by UPS, I called again. The second call resulted in nothing being done because the customer service rep didn't know what I was asking.

The next morning, I kept checking my app just in case he did get it rerouted. Finally, by afternoon, I called again and they fixed it and it is being rerouted!

My third package was being delivered via UPS and then USPS. The supervisor gave me the option to wait for the package to be forwarded to me (because I had my mail forwarded) or refund my order. I chose to be refunded because I had already repurchased everything (as advised by the supervisor from the first call).

Now that my orders are fixed, I am excited to receive them!

I am looking forward to coloring my hair! It's been a few years since I've colored my hair. I usually have it done at a salon but I barely have time or money these days.
