The Target Order Mistake
Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links.
I know it's been a few years since I last posted. I was focusing on my main blog: Beauty Brite.
However, I am back and hope to post on a regular basis here! I will try my best! Over the years, I was using Facebook to post updates. I'm ready to start blogging here instead!
I feel like Facebook is so fake. I feel like people use Facebook as a sounding board or as a way for attention. It's just not genuine. I guess prefer to blog about my feelings. I also feel like Facebook only shows my posts to a few people.
In the meantime, I wanted to share a huge mistake I made with my Target order.
First, Kyle will be starting school in a few weeks. I cannot tell you how excited I am for him to be back in school!
A few months ago, Kyle graduated 5th grade and will go to middle school this year! My little man is a 6th grader!
Since we are in a new district, his new school requires a dress code. He had a dress code at a previous school, so this will be better for us overall. He prefers wearing simple clothes, so this works perfectly for us!
I also had a few things I wanted to order, so I made one big order of new clothes and my items!
So what did I want to buy?
I wanted to try coloring my hair after reading an old post about using a foam hair coloring kit! The brand I used before is no longer being sold, so I found John Frieda Precision Foam Colour!
I also wanted a small bottle of liquid castile soap. I prefer to use castile soap to clean my makeup brushes. It really gets the job done and it's eco-friendly!
For Kyle, I bought him several polo shirts, shorts, and pants. I wanted enough of each to last through the week but also have a few extras.
So what was my mistake?
I messed up the first order because one item was set to be picked up at the store. I had to cancel the whole order and re-order everything.
I didn't notice the mistake until 3 hours after I placed my order! I only noticed it on accident! I somehow had my order set to deliver at our old address!
I tried canceling the order but it was passed the window to cancel online. Instead, I had to call customer service. He said he can put in a request on two (of the three) package shipments in my order. It's not a guarantee it will go through either. As for the last package, he said once I receive the shipment confirmation, I can call and see if they can re-route my package!
Let's hope everything works out!
